1 cup shortening
2 sticks butter at room temperature
1 cup sugar
1 1/2 cups brown sugar
2 extra large eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla
4 cups of flour
1 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons baking soda
1 bag of mini chocolate chips1 bag of regular chocolate chips
Directions
- Mix first 4 ingredients together. Cream until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs and vanilla.
- In a separate bowl sift together: flour, salt and baking soda.
- Add a cup at the time to the mixture. Then add chocolate chips.
- Refrigerate until chilled, roll into balls and freeze.
- Heat oven to 375 and bake for 10-12 minutes until they brown.
